My immediate family hasn’t judged me too harshly for this since they’re pretty introverted and non judgemental but I feel like my extended family lowk sees me as a loser and treats me differently for never bringing a girl over to family gatherings. I noticed that they always act awkward around me and don’t really listen to what I have to say a lot or kinda see me as a try hard whos trying to hard to fit in and make convo since I’m trying to make up for all those years I was quiet around family and didn’t really speak to them.
Hell even my 15yo cousin has a bf now (I’m 24yo) which also isn’t a good look either. Doesn’t help that my cousin who’s a 30yo 6’5 Tattmaxxed HTN who lives in NYC will always shows off his Stacylite conquests on IG lol. Ropefuel frfr.
Everytime I go to family gatherings my uncle is always asking if I’m getting laid or have a gf and I always lie and say yeah. And recently I showed him a sheboon MTB I was hooking up with on bumble and the look of digust and his and my aunts face was unforgettable jfl. My family is Colombian/cuban and is racist and really dont want any of us anywhere near sheboons lmaoo.
So next time at the next family gathering I showed my uncle a pic of this HTB Latina on IG that happened to follow me since we have mutuals and I lied and told my uncle that this was a girl on my roster jfl and it seemed like he believed it but deep inside I still feel like a loser since I haven’t actually brought an Stacy to a family gathering. I feel like my family expects me to and I should be able to since I’m not a complete turbo Manlet subhuman.
Have you guys dealt with this?
