How do you deal with mosquitoes?

I just wish i could sense when they are bitting me in the first place, its supper annoying how you don't feel anything when they land, sting you and lift off, you only feel that super annoying itch a minute later.

I usually just don't bother with them and cope with the itching all summer. Are those like bug vibrators thingies legit? The ones who make some very wierd frequency sound which stop bugs from around you

There are none where I live, since the windows of my house have panels to protect them from entering the house (unironically a necessity in a country with so many mosquitoes such as Brazil).
