How do you deal with retards?

I know someone who isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, and it is so fucking annoying to argue with. He will pick an argument, get proven wrong if it’s objective, but then refuse to accept that hes wrong, or change what he’s arguing about. And it’s worse if it’s even remotely subjective, as they will take nothing you say on board, reiterate the exact same point, and will just take jabs at you as opposed to arguing properly. How do I deal with simpletons like this, because he’s convinced hes like a master debater, when in reality he is just ignorant
