Think about it logically. If you are short and ugly but smart, you can get a good job in America doing software engineering or medicine or something, make a ton of money, then go to Southeast Asia where you can get a decent woman who's using you for your money but is actually somewhat attractive.

Also, the USA is big, different places have different difficulties. New York is essentially shooting fish in a barrel when it comes to dating, while Seattle is Hell on Earth. If you don't like the options where you are, you have a lot of choice on where to go next.

You have to pay them taxes even if you move, start working in another country, get a new citizenship and don't plan to ever return. You would have to renounce your American citizenship to avoid this, but they made the process now more difficult and costly.
