Not really. It's only two extra mouths to feed. I actually spend less though because when I was single I'd eat out more. Like at least once a day. We spend less than $200 on groceries a week and she always cooks.

There's nothing glamorous about how I became a multimillionaire.

Basically, I applied for a well-paying Civil Service job by taking a test. I scored 98 (1 question wrong out of 50).
Six years later, they called me from a long list of applicants (some of whom had scored as high as 105 because they got a perfect score + 5 points military credit).

Long story short, I got the job and held it for 16 years. My parents had a spare apartment upstairs from them and I moved in to save money on rent. I only paid for utilities.

I scrimped and saved all those years, keeping my expenses as low as possible. I lived off of about 30% of my wages and invested the rest in the stock market during the biggest bull run in its history. I also invested in out-of-town real estate (when houses were cheap) and in cryptocurrencies (I started buying Bitcoin when it was $1,800 and Ethereum was only $130).

Compound interest did the rest of the work.
