Crazy how retarded poor loud people are the reason why cheap housing is cheap housing.

It's almost as if the invisible hand is legit. If you had the discipline and mental health to keep quiet and not damage property and not live like an expediate retard then you wouldn't have to live with buggers who can't.

I don't expect silence, but if you have to put up with incessant stomping (literal running and jumping on heels) and loud impact sounds from 6 am till 11 pm every single day, it's impossible to relax or concentrate on anything else. I don't get startled at all, but noisy neighbors irritate the fuck out of me. I don't mind normal sound emission, but some people are annoying for a living and enjoy the attention

Get an apartment at the last floor, you won't have anyone on top of you. Older buildings might also have thicker brick walls and better sound insulation. You could also rent a house or something, it depends on how much money you have.

I was referring to "normal" apartments as well, not only hostels. You never really know what you're in for until you moved in and lived somewhere for a few weeks

I was living on top floor and it was hell. Non-existent sound insulation and a psychopathic downstairs neighbor who'd blast his sound system on full volume day and night. Frequent gatherings and nightly drug binges, coupled with yelling and loud music until late in the morning
