I feel like this topic isn’t talked about enough, how can someone deal with a slight recession of their jaw, it makes my side profile off-putting, I can’t hardmax currently I’m looking for clear solutions or theories, I don’t have an overbite or ever had braces, my teeth are fine but my chin / jaw has a slight recession compared to the rest of my face, can I bone smash my chin for the inflammation and fraud? or is there some sort of belt pulling exercise you could use to pull your jaw a bit more forward

realistically i should just filler / diy filler, implant or bsso, otherwise the best options ive got is maintaining my tongue posture, chewing and getting lean
its not talked about because there is no way to fix it besides a bsso, literally nothing will help your just going to hurt yourself by bonesmashing or fuck your teeth up beltpulling its all cope

Brutal. Only way is to hang yourself and ascend by becoming one with the all

bsso is the only thing that actually moves the mandible forward, youre right on that. but saying literally nothing helps is cope. getting properly lean, consistent mastic chewing and strict tongue posture still improve jaw definition and side profile noticeably for mild recession

fuck, should i just use a hammer and go at my chin until inflammation makes up for the recession? or is inflammation not sustainable

none of those will have any effect besides getting lean, masseter hypertrophy only increases the width from the front profile and mewing only raises your hyroid

your chin is going to be bruised and it might appear a half mm longer for a couple hours, just get filler if you don't want surgery you can do it diy

masseters sharpen the gonial angle on side profile too, its not just front width. proper tongue posture does more than just raise the hyoid it helps with lower face tension and posture. getting lean is still the biggest factor tho

this is the masseter insertion it has maybe a 0.1% effect on gonial angle, only really does anything if your jaw is narrow, nothing will improve forward projection besides filler or surgery

tounge posture only helps during development and its not going to override your genetics but its important to reach ur genetic potential

I’ve been working on getting lean but I heard that limiting your calories will affect your height growth in puberty, How far could I get if I maintain strict tongue posture and I pull my jaw forward by pulling them with my thumbs

I want to balance maximum height potential and also make sure my bones are defined and not hidden under fat or bloatedness

for bigonial width massaters are amazing, also hard chewing in pubertal development develops the ramus drastically

if youre still in puberty dont crash your calories hard. mild deficit is fine but dont undereat too much or it can affect growth. strict tongue posture is worth doing but it wont fix recession. thumb pulling your jaw forward is straight up cope and can mess up your tmj. just get lean, chew consistently and maintain posture. thats the realistic max without surgery

yes that is during development/early puberty plus this guys problem is horizontal recession of his mandible not his ramus

masseter hypertrophy does improve gonial angle visibility from the side more than 0.1 especially if your ramus is narrow. youre exaggerating. tongue posture has minimal effect on forward growth in adults but still helps with overall lower face posture. everything else you said is mostly correct tho
