I have a set of things I do to get into the right mindset. I listen to certain songs that get me into the right mood. Then I take a few pics to prove to myself I’m a really beautiful. Those pics make me happy for the evening and whenever I feel I’m about to go down cuz I start to doubt myself I look at the pics I just took to remind myself how good looking I am. Compliments obviously boost me again. And then I take drugs to make me even more confident and horny.

That works for me.

Tho you might not be bipolar. Has your therapist not mentioned the possibility of you being borderline and not bipolar ? They are pretty similar. Bipolar are usually longer(multiples days or weeks) phases while borderline consists of very short tempered phases(sometimes only a few hours).
Do you have major trust issues and can’t get close to people but also don’t want to lose them ?
If so you might be borderline and need different strategy’s than for fighting bipolar disorder. Not an expert tho

I have BorderPD. Lithium and other mood stabilizers help with some negative thoughts that comes with Borderline but I think DPT or CBT helps also.
