Yeah once you're 18 and done with high school with no real social connections you're screwed. Gets even harder each year after too. Been quite a few years since I was in high school and I was unable to make any new connections

Join a sports club this is a low effort way to meet new people that enjoy your same interests. You could also look into joining a club that is about your interest since the people there will be your kind off people.
Also remain friendly, open and easy to aproach

Great idea! Work could be an easy way to meet new people. Be carefull though don't make friends with people much older because that will limit your social interactions outside of work because your used to older people. Striking up a conversation during a break or after a meeting can be a great way to meet new people.

if you're in university, try to make as many friends as possible early on. University is very clique and groups are usually formed within the first month or so

Go to self-help groups for ex-drug addicts or others mentally traumatized people (bullying victims or others) larp has one of them (if ur not one of them), it will be easier to start socializing with people just as mentally messed up as u than with normies.
