Looks do not give you control in social situations. Composure and wit do. I cannot begin to tell you how many dudes who've been more handsome than me that I've utterly destroyed.

Money is just a tool. I've always lived WAY below my means. The dread of fucking up at work isn't something I've ever experienced. I've always kept enough money to be able to support my family for at least a year in USA without having to work but I dress like a straight ragamuffin. I wear $12 Walmart slippers to work and have slept on the ground for the past 5 years. My wife and kid sleep on the ground as well. I'm not gonna invest in a bed when my apartment didn't come fully furnished. I've never liked having a bunch of junk to tie me down.

Looks won't stop someone who's more intelligent and less inhibited than you from nocking you off your high horse, regardless of how good they look themselves.
