How do you keep a community clean, organized and high quality for an extended period of time??

Man, I used to scroll on tiktok and see certain hashtags like #iqmaxx or some whatever edgy hashtag thing like that and it used to be some sort of bizarre edit of people and their strange ideologies, but it was sorta consistent.

Idk if thats a community of its own with people, but nowadays if I see a video with the hashtag #iqmaxx it's completely random and kinda just shitposting basically, with over the top edgy effects to dramatize the mundane clip.

I saw an edit of a literal potato with the hastag #iqmaxx underneath it?

Do memes and uncontrolled amounts of shitposts deteriorate communities as time goes?
