How do we know that other people actually have a consciousness? Does anyone else feel like they're the only person with a functioning brain and a soul and everyone else is just an insentient robot? How am I supposed to know that I'm not the only person who is conscious on Earth and am not God himself?

I have had similar feelings at some point. it has nothing to do with inferiority or superiority, nothing to do with the excelling at something or not, since the very definition of success is arbitrary. what pushes me out of this thought pattern is that I am not immortal, and that reality has this aspect of permanence. if solipsism were true, I think it wouldn't be possible to be injured
