How do you know if your maxilla is Flat or Recessed

And also “Your maxilla is flat”

How can you tell the difference between the two?

If you have a recessed mandible and chin and the mouthbreather/birdcel profile, then your posterior maxilla is recessed. If you have a class III bite and/or very concave face then your anterior maxilla is recessed. If neither then it’s probably just flat.

But definitely go to an orthodontist or jaw surgeon or even a dentist and get the real answer.
