If you're 15 and have recessed teeth, why not just take a metal ruler, clamp it between your premolars, and hold it there all day? This will put pressure on your upper jaw, shifting it and shortening your midface. Yes, you'll experience tooth displacement, but if we're talking about recession, adolescence is the only way to correct it without Le Fort 2. It'll be too late later, and good luck finding a surgeon willing to do it. Why waste such a chance and worry about your teeth when you can significantly shift your upper jaw in six months, and then correct your teeth with braces? Besides, if you have recessed teeth, you already have a narrow palate, so you'll need palatal expanders and braces anyway.:feelsgood:

I'm asking this question in all seriousness. I only held the ruler like this for five minutes, and I already feel significant pressure in my maxilla, meaning this method should really be moving it. You can simply press your tongue to the roof of your mouth and hope for the best, but there's no guarantee the recession will resolve by age 20, or you can use the guaranteed counterclockwise rotation and adjust your teeth later. Please do not respond to people who say anything other than serious discussions. Express your opinion on this matter.

come on bro 😭
I know it sounds stupid, but doesn't it make sense? When you hear that a few millimeters of bone in your face are holding you back from happiness, that sounds stupid, too, but it's true nonetheless. If you disagree, please justify your position.

Maybe do it w a towel and pull

Может быть, сделать это полотенцем и потянуть?
If you're talking about short-term episodes, that's silly, since you need to apply pressure for at least 10 hours a day, I think. But doing it all day is uncomfortable; you'd need to build a device to suspend you. Plus, pulling the belt would involve many more teeth, and therefore, many more teeth would need to be corrected later. So, I think the ruler method is better.

chewing on a ruler wont ascend you bro 😭 all this thumbpulling towelpulling things are all massive copes ande you need actual orthodontic equipment / surgery to fix recession.

Dude, I'm talking about a young age, come on. You don't read my messages. Apparently, people have this stupid stereotype about facepulling because they only do it for 5 minutes a day. Facepulling doesn't work solely because it's short-term, and if you can somehow do facepulling for 16 hours a day, there's no reason it can't work. But you can't keep your finger on the roof of your mouth all day, which is why I suggest this ruler method.

15 is not a young age, and id like you to show me a conclusive study of homemade "facepulling" devices and not just anecdotes :lul:

Feeling "pressure" in you maxilla because you are clamping down a piece of metal is not indictive of any sort of movement/growth of your bones. Of course you might really want to walk around with a ruler in your mouth and look like a retard, thats up to you. As i mentioned earlier, the only way to fix recession/downward growth is orthodontic appliances and SURGERY

i promise you bro dont stick a ruler in ur mouth and think it will do anything other than give you jaw pain 😭:lul:

At 15, your sutures are still flexible, and if you apply constant pressure to your upper jaw, what's the chance it won't work? 15 isn't 20; even a FaceMask still works at 15. Again, CONSTANTLY, all day long, not just 5 minutes a day. Regarding pressure: I don't understand why you have to explain it like that, bro. Isn't it clear that when I said pressure, I didn't mean my jaw shifted in 5 minutes? I mean it puts pressure not only on your teeth but also on your JAW, because if there was no pressure on your jaw, I wouldn't feel any tension. So, this method affects the jaw through your teeth. To minimize damage to your teeth, you should also use a custom mouthguard to minimize the risks. Just saying.
