If you're 15 and have recessed teeth, why not just take a metal ruler, clamp it between your premolars, and hold it there all day? This will put pressure on your upper jaw, shifting it and shortening your midface. Yes, you'll experience tooth displacement, but if we're talking about recession, adolescence is the only way to correct it without Le Fort 2. It'll be too late later, and good luck finding a surgeon willing to do it. Why waste such a chance and worry about your teeth when you can significantly shift your upper jaw in six months, and then correct your teeth with braces? Besides, if you have recessed teeth, you already have a narrow palate, so you'll need palatal expanders and braces anyway.
