if you're stuck in straight slavery in a 9-5, the 9-5 is not the problem. Being a cashier is wagecuck slavery. Being a lawyer is not. You should focus on developing real skills and getting education and experience in a field, rather than focusing on being completely independent. It is through progressing through traditional employment (in smart ways) that opportunities present themselves to prudently operate independently.
