How do you stop being apathetic

Nothing feels vivid or real any more, hasn’t for a while
It feels like they took something from me, something from my brain

It inevitably just leads me to chase more intense emotions just to feel something
Drugs, sex, ragebait, music, lamenting, maladaptive daydreaming etc

Consequence and risk (especially in the long term) feels less apparent and meaningful too which is jeopardising my life from sheer apathy

Like I should feel angry and motivated in the face of my self-inflicted predicaments and the time I’ve wasted but there’s nothing

Psychopaths aren’t entirely apathetic anyways they can still feel intense emotions (particularly anger), they just lack empathy and prosocial instincts

sociopaths are more impulsive and emotionally reactive and generally are the product of childhood trauma

psychopaths often have blunted, shallower emotions (especially prosocial ones) but can still experience them, and psychopaths are generally born that way
