how do you talk to women as friends?

obviously a bad forum to go to but
how tf do you befriend a women or talk to one as a friend, if i talked to them as i would my friends i feel like most if not all would be repulsed and think im retarded (if they didnt already)
also in specific, anytime i try to talk to a girl it feels extremley forced, like talking to a coworker or something
