I don't really have a big 5, it just depends on the type of people you hang around with.

But what i usually do is be sorta quiet at the start until i start picking up on the type of people they are or what type of humor they have, after that i start fitting in more but don't be completely fake because there's nothing in it for you if you're being a cuck to yourself basically.

But you have to realise you can't keep an nt mask forever, when you get closer with the people and if they're comfortable with you, you can tell them maybe the mental illnesses (if you have any) that bothers you on a daily basis so they would know, if they actually cared about you they wouldn't switch up on you cuz of a condition.

For me personally i've had times when i act nd asf during episodes but what has made them understand is straight up telling them that i'm not currently in the right mind, and they've understood 99% of the time.
