You can make anyone’s profile seem bad, it depends on the angle the pic is taken from. If not exactly 90deg, its not a profile view

Side profile does not matter as much as you think, plus he is older here. Front profile and 3/4 is majorly gonna decide how attractive you are, if your side profile is acceptable with no visible flaws, it's ok.
