anyone here gotten filler for cheekbones? ive only had chin in the past, does it feel squishy on the sides of your face, will girls notice it while touching your face? what part of the cheekbone did you augment and were you pleased with the results?

bonesmashing sucks dick
i’ll consider implant later but right now i am not sure whether i want to augment laterally or just increase forward projection so i’m going with filler first

Filler anywhere than the lower third is usually not a good idea, but i dont have experience with it

filler jn the lower third tends to be bad because of the massive amount usually needed. near eyes are probably best area for filler(with ps not some street injector)

Cope, implants are better but bonesmashing makes ur bones harder and combining that with debloating gives an illusion of bigger zygo, but u have to smash for a year 2x a week

I get a little on zygos. Its the only filler I do (you want to avoid filler if possible, but it can enhance certain areas).

I have the brand Juvéderm Voluma, only 0.5ml per side. I once tried 1ml and it was way too much. You only need a small amount to enhance the zygos (it gives me a improved FWHR, and ES ratio). If overdone, it will 1) look unnatural, 2) potentially migrate.

When I had 1ml, I had a few strangers on nights out asking if I had work done - not great. With 0.5ml, not one comment.

You need make sure that you have a decent injector who understands both aesthetics but obviously is great at the technical aspects. What's great about zygos, is migration is very low risk as its in a 'low movement area' (as opposed to say the midface).

In the past, I had cheekbone filler and it was decent, but it caused an issue. The filler highlighted and worsened the taper between my orbits and cheekbone, making a very minor skin depression in the skin (the transition between under eyes and cheekbone). Took ages for it to resolve. That's the thing, you want to be careful as it can impact other areas of your face, you never even thought of.

You don't want do undereyes really - its risky. Skin is thin and filler will be potentially seen + causes puffiness as water is drawn to the filler

Forgot to mention how it feels.

Feels like bone. Juvéderm Voluma is softer than say Aliaxin GP, however the injector recommended it and yea it was a good choice.

After 2-ish weeks, blends very well with the surrounding skin and feels hard, just like your cheekbone. If you (or someone else!) pokes it, they wont be able to tell

The key to filler is to get only small amounts and to top up very infrequently (at least 1 year if not 2 years!). This keep risks of migration and it looking unnatural low

thank you excellent response, how long after getting it was the swelling noticeable for? where in the cheekbone did they inject for you?

It was very quick. Most swelling goes in the first 24hrs, but for 100% blended will take 7-14 days.

Unlikely that anyone will notice though after the first day. You may have a little redness, but you can cover with concealer for a couple of days

My practitioner though is skilled, and uses a cannular next to the sideburns, so the entry point is completely invisible (as its in the hair), no injection site can be seen. The cannular also allows precision placement of the filler. Opt for cannular technique instead of direct needles

I showed this pic to the practitioner lol

Even though I dont think this guy had zygo filler, this was the look i wanted. More width and a taper to the jaw

This dude had Le Fort osteotomy and i was miring the zygos

how do you find a skilled practitioner? i just got for middle aged plastic surgeon males in my area. Also would you be comfortable pming before/afters?

i can get before a weekend if that’s enough time or wait for a longer break for isolation.

Call or email, ask if they offer Juvéderm Voluma, and ask about whether they would do this as a cannular.

Otherwise, just generally check reviews, but if its a Dr I'm sure they'll be fine, especially technique wise. Show them a pic if you want to illustrate what you want

And yea weekend should be fine. Its only a little less refined at that point, but mostly healed and swelling largely gone. It takes up to 14 days or so to fully integrate into the tissue

did you get any filler in your jaw to balance it, or was 0.5mL enough to look natural without touching the jaw? planning to do the same thing...

Ive had filler in the jaw in the past, but i only got it once and its not for me. My jaw is decent so more filler looks comical and also i worry about migration. I only have zygo filler now, every 1-2 years

For me (and after understanding aesthetics more, and what my face lacks), I wanted to have more lateral projection, so i only have 0.50ml per zygo. This improves FWHR, as well as ES ratio and provides a better taper and angle from cheekbones to jaw. Its a decent improvement for a low cost, low risk non surgical procedure

Its possible that I'll get implants in the future but I worry about them looking fake and also reabsorption of the bone and them becoming 'loose' in my face. Not sure its worth the risk. Also theres negative sides to face surgery people dont contemplate

Ive had fat grating to my face (temples, midface, labiomental region), nose tip rhino, ears pinned (otoplasty), canthopexy (tightens the eye, but the dr also lifts the muscle under the eye), a genioplasty (0.8cm advancement of the chin), as well as forehead reduction surgery and two HTs. Im softmaxing with peptides (MT2, etc) and use SARMS (lol I know they're a bit shit but I dont wanna use roids) for physique. My plan to get on TRT

My next surgical procedure will be LL surgery which im researching at the mo for early 2027. I am worried about it though as clearly higher risk and also being on crutches for 3 months or more is tough, but going from 5,11.5 to 6,2 at least will be a huge boost - and im sick of wearing lifts

Im happy with progress. Likely chadlite from probably avg and do well in clubs and bars

isn’t this overly conservative? generally the taller you are the more height you can gain from LL going for a mere 2.5 inches sounds kind of like a waste of time and money

Im going for at least 6.2. I'll try for more, but I want to prioritise recovery though

So ill take advice from the Dr and ill have to see how my body responds to the lengthening. Its more about the ligaments and the surrounding muscle

Around £50-£60k. I want an internal device only and I dont want wheelchair use outside the first few weeks. The quicer to crutches and then full walking the better
