It’s similar to how athletes get paid a ton of money, it’s not that they create value it’s because so much money flows into the scene that their compensation follows accordingly.

If you take a 1 billion dollar industry and have
100k office workers they get paid significantly less each.

If you take a 1 billion dollar industry and have like 500 athletes they get significantly more each.

Take a 1 million follower content creator that gets a brand deal for an example. If they get sponsorship on a product that pays them $5 per affiliate link click that turns into a purchase, it only takes 20k of their 1 million followers to make $100k.

Oh okay.

The average day to day isn’t building planes nor helping the society as one would expect.

The reason it’s cope cause if you look at from the aspect I’ve climbed the ladder, I worked my ass off to get this managerial position, talked to X amount of people/clients to succeed just for some fucking online loser doing dumb shit being a clown making much more money in his first years as opposed to 20 years in management.

Cope in this instance to make feel better about themselves, and not delve into deep depression just cause of making more money.
