The only thing that matters is how exciting you are to a girl, the looks just bring that starting point up depending on how good u look, for some girls your looks just aren't enough to get her that excited to compensate for some certain trait that she perceives as important that you lack (if she rejects you), you maybe aren't too toxic, friendly, rapey or whatever, many things play a role and it all comes down to does she wanna fuck you or not.
