Humans are supposed to have slight overbites bro anyway, it differs by ethnicity with how prominent overbite is. It’s way better than underbite because any retrusion to your snout or muzzle region is death sentence to attracting opposite gender and making friends

Idk, we’ve found lots of Neanderthal skulls with underbites so maybe they saw those and made up orc/ogre tales which got passed through generations.
