How does you guys’ forearm training routine looks like?

Personally I am directly training my forearms two times each week, for a total of 12 sets / week.

Aside from this I never use straps while performing my heavy deadlifts / bent over rows / weighted chinups etc., for some added indirect work

A session of mine currently looks like this:

1. Narrow grip chinups
2 x 15 with added weight on my waist

How do you guys train your forearms? Do you have any exercises you particularly like for them?

Do your warmup deadlift sets double overhand if possible, heavy chins and rows will also develop them.

The best pump I ever got for my forearms was pulling a 300lb+ deadlift (can't remember exact weight) and holding it at lockout for 30+ seconds for 3 sets.

Good exercise with smaller weights is to tie a rope around a weight and a block of wood with a couple feet of slack. Stick your arms out in front and use your hands to wrap the rope around the block of wood so the weight moves up close to the wooden block handle. Then unwind it only with your wrists. Do it until your can't anymore, insane forearm pump.
