How dumb would it be to cut my gum for longer teeth?

FYI my gummy smile is not due to maxilla problems but due to having small-ish teeth. I've looked into gum contouring with lasers but its expensive (upwards to $300/tooth) and I'd need like 7 teeth done, you can do the math.

If I were to use a scalpal and cut the gums myself is that going too far? Someone convince me to not do this and just buy the surgery so I dont kill myself. I'd obviously use anesthetics and use a antifungal cream or rinse afterwards with antibiotics if necessary. I have very steady hands and am confident I can cut the gum surrounding the teeth with precision, my only worry is the bleeding (which is mitigated with a laser as it constricts the blood vessels and basically cooks incision).

I probably wont actually do this, but in theory is it possible to do so with a scalpal? I'm assuming they'd just heal over again unless I continuously kept cutting them, but then at that point they'd probably be looking a fucked and inflamed.

Idc what anyone says, teeth impact your appearance so much. I know there are more important things facial wise, but girls love a nice smile. My smile shape isnt bad, teeth are already insanely white, its quite literally just the size of my teeth.

Unless you keep your mouth shut 24/7 your teeth are bound to be shown. Obviously in pictures you could get a way with hiding them or whatever, but ultimately ppl will comment if your face is good and you teeth are shit (since they won't have anything else to say), so there is no reason to not worry about them.

I mean just look at Zac before he fixed his teeth. Its brutal.

Deadass thought about this aswell, but infections in the gum just cause extreme assymetry since there is no way to control which tooth grows more than the other. But in theory, technically it will elongate how much tooth is shown nonetheless jfl
