How easy is a recessed mandible to fix? (Also a dental question)

Currently using braces (class ii) elastics to correct an overbite, I was shy and timid when I started at like mid 15 and regret it. Wanted to get a palate expander and/or herbst appliance but now stuck with these bands

Are the bands beneficial since I got no teeth extracted?

And for the actual title of the post how easy will it be to fix my recessed mandible if the bands don’t make it good enough

bands likely won't have any affect on your jaw structure, they mainly shift teeth position within the jaw

Cant tell if this is a serious question. Theres a lot of factors it deepends on the lower jaw position in respect to the widt od the upper jaws palate, and wheter the mandible itself is just short. Check with scans first and see what stack options there are considering youre still able to change it at 15
