How effective are PDO threads in reducing the prominence of nasolabial folds? (RESPONSES FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY TRIED IT PREFERRABLY)

I know Orc already made a thread about it, but i wanna know from other people who have already tried it, and if they got good longlasting results

I havent used it myself, but i believe it can mechanically lift the tissue, which can help smooth mild to moderate folds.
But for deeper folds, it definitely needs to be combined with fillers since fillers can actually add volume to the area and address the root cause of the fold

My folds are pretty moderate so i think i'll be good with just PDO threads, however theyre guaranteed to deepen as i age so ill either get dermal filler or paransal implants when im older. PDO threads will just be a good temporary fix in my opinion

Can’t say I have used them. To me they seem not very useful, they don’t last long enough for me to feel like they would be worth my time. You could always try it tho since they are cheaper than actual procedures.

I think Orc said his effects lasted for a year iirc, but ill definitely look into it more before I actually go through with it
