To be fair, it's only in the light (e.g. near a good light source or in strong sunlight) my hair can appear to be a "5" on this chart, otherwise in normal conditions it's more like a "3".

I have news for you. Mena people are light as it is. It's only actual gulf arabs that are dark. Light skin =/= White looking and Med passing =/= White passing
 
Also did why @HarrierDuBois say Mena mix? That implied average Spaniard is Mena mixed since it's a composite photo

Not that the people in the photo even look remotely Arab. They don't even look Italian or French. They look Spanish. That's it. Their facial proportions and bone structure are entirely European, maybe leaning more towards NW Euro than Med. Guy has tall skull, thin lips, almond eyes, tall forehead. As opposed to the Med full lips, short forehead, and overall vertically shorter skull

From hair alone there is not such thing as ethnic or non ethnic hair.

This kid is naturally blonde but is obviously not white.

So for hair alone it cannot look white or ethnic. It is all about the balance of your haircolor, skincolor, eyecolor, and most importantly underlying bone structure that defines wether or not you look white or ethnic. Now lighter hair will overrall make you look whiter than darker hair, but it is never guarenteed to make you look white. Just like dark hair will make you look less white but is never a guarentee to make you look ethnic.

I better get an upvote for this effort tbh.
