bro you know how I was and my demeanor until a few days ago on this forum alone, when i finally understood how much genuine evil there is in this world. Like i mean really genuine.
Dead rotten babies in the wombs of mothers expecting a healthy child. Genuine malovelent spirits possessing guilty bodies to try and rot them to death and multiply the bad force
It is seeing the ways that evil manifests on this material plane that urged me to become the antithesis of it, and the antithesis is the archetipycal representation of Jesus Christ
The Purest Man Facing What He LEAST DESERVES.
Think of a celibate woman (even via thought, the purest you can imagine) since birth being given the punishment that a prostitute deserves.
That's why the depiction is that christ was crucified for the sins of mankind.
And that's why the concept of "repenting" is so profound. Meaning you recognize your alovelent thoughts/ actions as "wrong". (THUS WHY THE 10 COMMANDMENTS)
You repent so you are free from guilt and is open to go out in to the world and do better without trying to justify your sins and compound it.
So you won't give in to the idea of "I'm too deep, the only way is through more sin"
It is profoundly easy to "compound" your sins when you lack the understanding of the story of the crucifixion and the importance of repenting
One can still recognize wrong, even before becoming religious and there is no argument that Jesus christ is the purest representation that can ever exist.
Here's a simplification - every time you have a genuine malevolent thought, it physically manifests itself somewhere in this world i.e a dead baby, or the encouragement of someone on the edge to actually go on and do something terrible.
As cliche and vague as it sounds, it's understanding Christ. THere is no other religious depiction (tho if studied correctly ,you will understand it all points to the same
I'll give you a bit of food for thought, so your curiosity may actually lead you to understanding the truth for yourself
+ It took me months and years of pondering with a lot of events + the final one that made me have faith in this truth.
It is a very nuanced concept that if not understood is very easy to not believe in.
