It’s like a second form of communication or language everyone understands except for me

You could go to a social therapist. I definitely plan to. Back in high school there was an aspie guy in my class with no friends, he went to a social therapist after dropping out of school and now he has a huge circle and throws massive parties etc

Interesting stuff but it’s too late for me now

Considering I already wasted 3 years LDARing due to this issue, might as well accept it and move on. But youngcels in their teens should consider this option

Ok but you’re entirely placing that limit of being too late on yourself, just so you know. You could fix your social issues if you just put a little work in, I’m 22 and I’m gonna do it, you should too

I just don’t want to risk falling into despair/LDAR again, causes more problems than the issue of non NT itself

Become obsessed with improving your social skills then, treat it as a challenge and don’t let failures hold you back. Just aim to get 1% better every day

I need to get back on my studies, try to find work etc. Then use my remaining time for copes

Social skills, status, norms are a black hole. All caring about it does is destroy other aspects of my life
