How fucked am I if I extracted 4 premolars?

I extracted 4 premolars when I got braces. I've got a pretty decent jaw right now, but I read online that it's over for extractedpremolarcels. Is is true? What can I do about it? Implants won't work if I follow the mewing-meme since they can't move.

Generally it's very bad, but some people manage to not get recessed to oblivion. Also depends on how they moved the rest of your teeth.
