most beats or tracks have been made already and are being reused so much that nothing sounds new, and theres nothing worth rapping about now. the main problems in this world are too political and not worth rapping about, before it was "me and my gang beat some niggahz on tuesday" and a sick ass beat

there are newer artists that do that, a great example is tyler the creator. it just takes talent, and in a world where people are handed everything and where creativity is stubbed out and squished, creativity like kanye's shows up once in a lifetime

Not even really that hard. Back in those times it was more about the publication rather than creating good rap music. You just had to be NT enough to create lyrics that half rhyme and sounds like a message,

“Oh look our boi from the hood released sum shieet cuhh let’s fw it”
