How hard to get caught for illegal online activity?

Whenever you hear about a celebrity getting in trouble for downloading illegal porn, or for someone buying drugs online, it's basically always them doing something beyond stupid to get caught, or someone rats them out. Never seems that they are just outright caught 'electronincally'

And I doubt these people are even using TOR of VPN's or whatever and they still get away with various online crime until they basically hand themselves in!

Don't internet service providers kind of monitor this stuff and inform the authorities? Are the police and stuff just inept?

Police can't even deal with a pack of niggers looting and burning stores in plain daylight, they aren't going to be wasting their doughnout time going after people who order drugs online. Besides if you own half a brain you are already beyond reach of the average police department.
