How harmful is hair dying?

My current hair color is Dark brown,and I wanna dye it to black. Does any of you know,how harmful is it for my hair and how much would it increase the risk of balding?

Is shouldn't be harmful unless you are doing it constantly. However, your parents might call you a fag even if it's a natural colour for your race. I had a friend who wanted black hair from brown but his parents got disappointed.
