netflix's sandman had an amazing episode (the best of the series imo) where a middle-ages guy gets "cursed" with immortality and the emo nigga dream thought he would want to give up on life because he would endure centuries of suffering from pain, loss of loved ones, yadda yadda but the nigga is just "I love this!! not dying is amazing lol"
