A $1.2 million house

A 80k car (Don't need a large car for capital city)

Expensive clothes and jewelry isn't necessary neither is expensive restaurants and dates.

Could software engineering get me this if I play my cards right?

I think probably about 75k Annual would be enough tbh.

But it depends a lot on how much you taxed if you have kids.

Ah that's a rip tbh, what are you studying? Maybe try working online or starting a business.
Didn't start college this year because i'm getting surgery and need time to recover (obv can't do that in studies) instead i'm working for $2500 wage as a waiter.

I want to go to college for the experience but i need a high salary aswell to keep looksmaxxing afford aesthetic things.

Did you get cold approached or hit on?
I've hooked up w a coworker after she asked for my snap "Since we'll be working together"

I might start making story threads again but i prefer surgery related things as the stories don't give me anything of value on a personal level.

Just re-read your post and realised your studying software engineering. I think you could achieve 100k doing that tbh. But you might either want to work remote or move to America as the salaries are so much better.

The average salary of a software engineer in US is 127,306 (USD) / 1,316,206 (SEK).
In sweden its: 552,000 (SEK) / 53,393 (USD)

You might be able to work remote and earn the same pay in the US but tbh Idk.

Boomers destroyed the future of younger generations with overleveraging the economy and central banks not allowing the economic cycle to reset by doing infinite QE and stimulus rather than letting the economy follow its natural peak-through cycle. The best thing you can hope for as a youngcel for a better future is to hope for a major economic crash to happen that will reset the economy and wipe out the boomer generations savings and 401k's... or if you have rich family to inherit from. Otherwise its over for you unless you have top tier job/education

The economy doesn't need to crash for it to grow again.

What type of economics have you studied?

Why continue to live in sweden? You are going to be a minority soon in your own cities, taxes are ridiculously high, housing is out of reach if you didn't buy before 2006. I would rather move to america and then softwarecel.

I couldnt care less about the economic cycle. Im fortunate enough to have been born in to a rich family so I wont have to worry about my economic future.

That being said I feel for less fortunate Gen Z'ers who will have to inherit the economic wreck that boomers left them in. You will see soon enough

How often you do it? Isn't it kinda dangerous
Never in the winter but in summer 2-3 times a week Bcuz it requires time and effort.

Its not dangerous at all because even at high heights you’re fully focused. You dont get addrenaline in the same way as other extreme sports Bcuz you need to be Calm and focused in order to do precision jumps.

You're an adrenaline junky? I probably wouldn't because one slip or miscalculation can cause your life.

I’ve climbed a couple of construction cranes - one on the outside frame of it. Thats probably the most ”dangerous” i’ve Done Bcuz usually when just training its on a 4 story roof or the street.

You won’t get rich through regular dayjobs in Sweden, the progressivity of the tax system just ruins it. The only places to earn serious money in Europe is Switzerland and London (if you are in finance), although both places have stupidly high costs of living

In general Europe is a socialist shithole, you could earn a lot more working for a FAANG company in the US

Finance is a broad field and when most people hear about it they usually associate it with midwit corporate finance jobs like accounting or audit, those are boring middle class ones

Then there’s the so called “high finance” where you need pedigree to get in and you have the possibility to outearn basically all other jobs. Things like investment banking, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, management consulting. Many of these people work in their respective industries then down the road get MBAs from the best universities and become CEOs later on in big companies

Then there’s also quantitaive finance, which is only finance in it’s name, it’s rather applied mathematics combined with software engineering. Many quants come from STEM backgrounds. Also ridiculously high pay there, talking about 500 000 USD + / year possibly

What you are referring to is a specific job, quantitative developers. You can enter the quant field as a CS grad if you are well versed in mathematics (especially statistical models / stochastics). Then there are also the quant traders, all of these require very high intelligence

That could interest me ngl. Do you think getting a degree or teaching yourself mogs?
Degree mogs, but you need a relatively good college to help you past resume screens for top companies. Most online courses also aren’t as rigorous as college ones

If i'm moving out of Sweden after graduation the college won't hold any weight no matter the school
