First of all I would like to say this may not work for all of you as everyone is different. And this isnt an actual cure it is probably gonna come back but this is to hopefully prevent and help with any further breakouts

My experiences with eczema
I grew up having eczema but it was never bad, maybe a few dots of dry skin here and there but it was so mild i probably wouldnt even be classified with having it. Then 2020 rolled around and I did nothing but sit, eat and scratch. I was eating a lot of junk food as my mom just kept buying it and I was genuinely doing nothing but watching a screen and sitting for the whole day, this is where it started, slowly my eczema got worse and worse and soon i was scratching every second and bleeding everywhere

me in 2019 vs 2020(im making a stupid ass face but still u can see some of my rashes)
It was HELL, everyday i prayed this would go away and every doctor didnt help.

I looked like a turd and felt even worse.
Going to doctors didnt help, they prescribed steroids, thick vaseline type creams, even did uv therapy. My arms legs back chest everywhere had eczema. Anti-histamines didnt help as I got "immune" to it as I had 10-20ml everyday for 3 years.

My life sucked. It went away in 2022 and i thought it was gone forever then it came back 2023 Jan. life sucked again but eczema wasnt as bad

Then in feb 2023 it went away again as I stopped playing sports. In 2025 I thought I was cured but, I wasn't. Came back in Jan/Feb and boom I became ugly again and hated myself. I gained eczema on my scalp aswell which made me seem like I had dandruff. (I dont have many pics as I really hated myself) It sucked so bad as the girls I was persuing suddenly didnt talk to me anymore. I decided to change in May.

What not to do.
Doctors always love to prescribe steroids, but NEVER EVER do a steroid jab. I Have had 3 steroid jabs over 2020-2021 and they made it worse. The withdrawals are so fucking bad and your skin gets worse after a month after the jab. It basically feels cured then boom, its back but worse. Steroid creams are debatable but you shouldn't use it excessively, it thins your skin making your skin more sensitive. DO NOT USE HOT WATER WHEN SHOWERING, it is something I love to do but especially in a flareup thats the worse thing to do, it dries your skin and makes it more inflammed. It feels orgasmic but after you will feel like shit. Ofcourse stay away from things you are allergic to. Don't shower too much but don't shower too little. I shower once or twice a day.

Okay now what you're waiting for...

What I did to "cure" my eczema
In May I decided to change. My eczema was inflammed dry and felt horrible. I was addicted to hot water so the first thing I did was to turn off my water heater so I was forced to use cold water every time, it hurt like shit but trust me its for the better. Second is get these few ointments
-Beprosone 0.064%
-Xepacort 1% (any steroid will do)
- Protopic 0.1%

I started by using Beprosone for a whole week on my eczema everywhere except my eyelids (even my scalp) then for about half a week I used Xepacort and protopic, Xepacprt on the bad areas and protopic on my eyelids and the not so bad areas. Then I completely stopped any steroid and while my skin was good, if there were any rashes I would use protopic. I also limited my sugar and only showered in cold water. After a month I went down to Protopic 0.03%. I also barely used lotion. Then i gradually stopped all of that and my skin was perfect. When this happened I completely stopped lotions. Right now my skin is able to be in hot water and it still doesnt feel bad, and I still never use lotion.

My skin as of 16 Nov 2025 after using hot water to shower. As you can see its healed.

This is my skin on my face (sorry for the bad pic)

Remedies to help with the itch.
When I am really itchy and I can't handle it something I do is put a thick lotion on the are and use hot water on it. The thick lotion make sure it isnt dry after. Another is by rubbing ice on my skin but this isnt as effective. Use anti histamine also but dont overdo it as you might get used to it and it will stop helping. It happened to me but now ive gotten better.

Conclusion
I didn't see many threads about eczema and wanted to help those who do suffer from it. If you guys have any questions, I will try to answer it. Thanks for reading this, hope this helps.
