Being tan is law for white guys. Just buy the melanotan. I was really underestimating how important this is. Yesterday I experienced a noticeable increase in IOIs and got approached (!) by a girl. Literally the only thing different about my appearance was being tan. I’ve also been taking a carotenoid blend for a month and a half, not sure if it’s doing anything.
I’m taking 40mg accutane daily, dose is high because I’m doing an actual accutane cycle & also taking AAS so I need the sebaceous gland down regulation. I also live in a climate that’s cold with a very low UV index at this time of year so I have no choice but to use tanning beds.
Disclaimer: not recommending anyone use tanning beds while on accutane, or that you follow my melanotan 2 protocols. Just telling you what I did.
Firstly, I front loaded melanotan 2 for a week with NO UV EXPOSURE. Started off dosing 250mcg every day - I did this for 3-4 days and then moved to 400-500mcg.
After this, I started doing VERY SHORT TANNING BED SESSIONS 30-60 minutes after injecting melanotan. 90 seconds at first. Stayed at 90 seconds for 2-3 days then skipped a day. Moved up to 2 minute sessions after pinning 500mcg mt2. Skipped days whenever I saw some slight redness on my chest and shoulders. Made sure to stay on top of moisturizing skin.
I wore my daily facial sunscreen into the tanning bed for all of these sessions. It’s not a super strong SPF50 PA++++, just an American broad spectrum 40spf. My face still got darker & I did not experience any darkening of my post inflammatory erythema or acne scars, which was my main concern.
For me personally it took one week of these short tanning bed sessions + the one week of front loading mt2 to get tan enough that people noticed it & started commenting.
