I pictured myself wageslaving for 40 years, a cruel existence, and using my rational mind thought that my life was inherently not worth living.
As a Low IQ guy I thought that I had lost this part of the genetic lottery and so began to justify my death.
I was obsessed with finding ways to rope myself.
How I changed:
Incorporated all the facts about my life that I didn't want to accept, as many of these were brutal.
You must use your will and train it to do that which you don't want to do in the moment. For me, this was things that I came to enjoy such as sports or swimming.
Began to give meaning to my life through the work of the German mystic Rudolf Steiner.
You might call it cope, but I truly believe that when your life is hit with problems that if you don't have a greater meaning that you will fall into despair.
Why should you suffer if you're just a biological being?
Began to meditate, not by emptying my mind which I had done before, but by increasing my spiritual perception and developing a sense of the role that events in my life played.
Understanding that each trial I go through is part of developing wisdom for my soul.
Started to blast pre-workout to help me with the initial inertia against activites.
Began to appreciate the wonder of this whole existence, and realise that I have a divine essence that connects me to not only a higher power, but to others.
Long story short, if you can't develop a deeper sense of meaning then you are likely to always live life with the possibility of a breakdown.
