How Shrooms Made Me More Social - my own experience

I’ve always been curious about how certain drugs affect the brain, especially ones that supposedly make you more open or flexible mentally. Shrooms kept coming up. People always talk about the visuals, the introspection, the ego death—but what really caught my attention was something else: how they boost neuroplasticity. In simple terms, they make your brain more willing to change.

So a thought hit me: what if I took shrooms and, instead of just tripping in my room or going on some spiritual journey, I went out and socialized—on purpose? Would my brain actually “learn” how to be more relaxed, more open, more charismatic?

I tested it.

After the trip, I didn’t isolate. I didn’t overthink. I threw myself into conversations—especially with people I used to feel awkward around. My coworkers? No hesitation. Women? Easy. It didn’t feel forced or fake. I was genuinely enjoying it, like something had clicked. The anxiety or social friction I used to feel just wasn’t there.

The best part? It stuck.

It wasn’t just a temporary high. Even weeks after, that ease stayed with me. I felt like my social instincts had been upgraded—not because the shrooms gave it to me, but because they helped me unlock it. I just had to take the chance while the door was open.

To further test my new-found power, I forced myself to FaceTime foids and see how far I can keep the conversation. I managed to average around 2 hours HOLY FUCKING SHIT. This FT was only done on 3 people however

Disclaimer: I don’t know dogshit about the science behind how shrooms affect the brain, and all I heard was it heightens neuroplasticity so I tested it. This is purely based on personal experience, and may not work for everyone

I was high typing this thread, so I made a lot of misleading texts but

I took only 4-5g with two friends, and we spent the trip at an empty playground just talking and socializing.

The real experiment started AFTER the trip—since that’s the safer part, no risk of cops getting involved, and the neuroplasticity was still active. I basically pushed myself to socialize as much as possible. Whether it was online conversations, FaceTime calls, or going out and talking to friends or strangers—it all counted. I mainly tried planning hangout with old friends who I didn’t talk to anymore, FaceTimed some women who I mildly showed interest to, and just some random surface level conversations with normies outside wether it be in my work place or wtv.

Any kind of socialization COUNTS. But I’d refrain counting texting ppl bc what we incels clearly need is verbal skills JFL

One thing I’ve realized is the secret to basically keeping the conversations going kinda like a tree branch. You start from one topic, take a minor detail from the main topic and make a new topic out of it. Don’t be afraid to go out of line as well. It keeps the convo interesting

I’ve been using ORG less lately and living my bluepilled life after this experiment.

It could be the shrooms or it could be my drive to be a better person in general. Either way, it worked.

I have pretty big experience if it comes to 'mind altering substances', but if it comes to mushrooms I done only 1g lol, so too little to make some impact, I heard about this, that you can even stop smoking/drinking when you have a problem, because it creates new connections in the brain and you can theoretically un-frame yourself from certain habits, can unlock new paths in life, will read everything later (y)

Shroom is really Interesting. Good or bad trip, it always ends up in a very self-reflecting way. During the trip, a lot of negative aspects about yourself surfaces to your mind where you can clearly identify it and want to change it for the better.
(I’ve tried shrooms as early as 17, but it’s generally recommended to take after you’re older bc substance MAY alter your brain from developing)

the dude below explained it better

also my mindset changed in a very simple way

I stopped feeling sorry about myself, my looks, and all other stuff. I’m more about facing it and improving them now. You can’t be stuck on point 1 forever doing nothing about it then complaining yk

For example, my social ability
It’s one thing I’m currently focused at bc I isolated myself at a young age. Shrooms really helped me jumpstart that “spark" that allows me to socialize whenever I want to
