My skin and hair had been a pretty big failo for me throughout the past year. I believe I’ve fixed it through many changes. Here’s what I started off at:
Pretty oily hair and a dark uneven skin tone in my lower third. After I started doing basic softmaxxes, changed my haircut and cut the facial hair. I got to a mediocre base.
I started taking care of my skin more, and started using tretinoin. However, I was very fucking stupid and didn’t realize how important sunscreen was, and oh boy did it fuck my skin up.
I thought this was because of the tret and believed it just wasn’t made for my skin. But with simple improvements, one including wearing sunscreen with SPF 50 and PA++++ (I use one from HaruHaru Wonder), my skin became way better. I also changed my diet drastically, started going to the gym and maximizing my gains with SBL, switched to a water based moisturizer from Based, and started using tretinoin again. I accredit the moisturizer and the sunscreen for the most drastic changes in my skin, alongside the tretinoin for speeding up my skin cell turnover.
Now I’m here, I’ve gained around 30 pounds (majority in water weight and muscle tissue). The second photo is from around two months ago. My skin is red in it cause I just applied tret, it’s usually not that red. My hair is a lot less frizzy. I’ve been shampooing around once a week, limiting hot water exposure on my hair, and conditioning whenever my hair is dry. Been reapplying my sunscreen like a madman, protecting myself from UV damage, and been applying Tretinoin 0.05% every other night. If yall have any questions lmk. Love you guys in .org, I’ve came pretty far, got myself a stacylite girlfriend (she’s Eve in my eyes), and life has been amazing.
