I think it’s way less important once you are in the relationship, but the outside attention from other people/lack of it might affect how they view you and how attracted they are to you. I don’t think it’s a large factor and if you know how to keep the energy in a relationship up then you won’t have to worry about it. Girls seem pretty happy to date an ugly guy if they treat her right in my experience.
