How important is ES ratio really?

Heres a pic of Depp and Somerhalder before and after increasing their IPD which increases their ESR to get them into the so said ideal range. Both of them have sub .45 ES ratios which is out of the ideal range (.45-.47)

Surely the difference isnt that big, i can see a improvement with depp maybe a 0.25 PSL increase but probably nothing more than that.

But therese no improvement with Somerhalder imo, i could even argue that the original looks better.

Is ESR actually important or is it just PSL autism?

0.2 on both , i think es is not important for being good looking as seen by the chads above. But depending on your eye shape and stuff it can look so aesthetic but it only matters really much for aesthetics if you already have a really good pfl , shape etc de poot is a good example

Probably because his face is wide and it looks more harmonious

But somerhalders extreme hunter eyes are also product of his narrow ipd, so wide ipd would probably make him uglier in motion

hmm then I think it's moreso something for sub 6 psl guys to worry about then rather than certified chads like them. Channing tatum has a .39 tho and it looks noticeably bad, but he's still very good looking.

the main problem with a low ipd is that it destroys your midface ratio
if your esratio is low but your midface is still compact you're good

My ESR is .42-.45 and midface is 1.05, my eyespacing should be apparently ideal according to the third eyeball method. 31mm PFL and around 31mm space between the eyes

My ES ratio is .42 and I have a pretty close pheno to him. I actually looked like him when I was younger JFL. Not so much now though, similar pheno, but he maxilla mogs me into the dust.
