How important is having a unique voice?

One thing you notice about popular jewtubers is that they tend to have recognizable voices, the guys with hundreds of thousands to millions of subs have that main character voice
Meanwhile you look at unpopular youtubers and they all sound generic even if the editing/video is good
I wonder how important that is for attraction/life in general
