how important is leanmaxxing actually

i see tons of people saying leanmaxxing is key for ascending but at the same time i see pictures of dudes who go from like 30% to 10% bf and still look the same (facewise) does it just depend on bones?

When you're fat u don't know ur bones
After leanmaxxing you may have good bones (ascension) or shit bones (over)

Sometimes I wonder if people on this forum can't apply logic or they just like to ask obvious questions for the sake of it.
If losing weight reveals your underlying bone structure of course the outcome will be dependent on it.

Even if you don’t ascend facially you’re going to have a much better time being average or below with a good body than average or below and fat, and most likely you will look better facially at LEAST a little bit

Leanmaxxing (12% bodyfat or less) is good if you are past your puberty because it will reduce your facial fat, showing your bones and it will make all your body muscles more noticeable, specially the abs but i don't recommend young people (20 or less) to leanmax that far, as low body fat has a direct effect on hormonal balance, immune system function, energy levels and muscle development which can slow body development during puberty, for young people i recommend a body fat % between 12-15% which is still lean (maybe your abs won't be too visible) but you will be at a healthy body fat % that won't have a negative effect on your health. Athletes lower their body fat % during competitions to win medals but after competition they return to their healthy levels of body fat to keep training, you can do the same, lower your body fat % when you know you to some social event or vacation (slay) and after the slaying is done, go back to your normal fat levels to keep growing.

Very important for some. About 20 pounds + with me seems to be the difference from no attention to getting decent attention. Makes it a bone matter then I guess. Also some guys like me will literally gain any extra weight over their good weight in their face and belly and hardly any in their legs which compounds the problem.

It does. If you have decent bones and decent bone mass, leanmaxxing is a must. Hell, I’d recommend it even if you didn’t have the proper bones just so you can analyze your face properly for whatever surgery you plan on getting.
