How important is sleep midway through puberty and at 18?

hey so I'm already 18 (2007.10.14) and 4 months and my question is is 7 hours of sleep enough to ascend and general health at this age or is it still important to reach for a solid 8 hours sleeping session every day? I feel like I can function with this amount, ofc I feel a little bit more energyc but not by a big margin, so should I stick with 7-7.5 or try to get 7.5-8 or maybe even 8.5? I'm gonna look up the replys (if theres any lol) tomorrow cuz I'm already cooked at 0:26 with waking up at 7:00 (online school rn thats why) but yh if it's not a dumb question please answer it with actual explanations with hormones and bone development, thankya

get some sleep and maybe you will be able to type coherent sentences

7hr is fine the quality should be good actually even though your 18 some bone like mandible and brow bone grow till 25 age so to not messup your growth you should sleep 7h-8h and well also not sleeping even cause bad skin and weak collagen so enough sleep is essential
 
Sleep is especially important during development but important no matter what especially in the gym I shoot for 8-10 hours
