How IQ seems to work in this forum

Basically the way most users go about it is if someone doesn’t agree with what they say said person is low iq

So From what I see the more someone disagrees with u the more they are by ur logic low iq

So that means ur claiming to be the threshold for perfect iq

And that in itself is low iq

Seems weird to me how in this community iq is something literally most users think they have above everyone else

Iq is the capacity to solve problems faster that does not make someone less intellectual in what they’re talking about

Ofc in extremes sure if someone is extremely low iq or extremely high iq it will be noticeable

But unless we are competing for fast problem solving iq is useless in this forum

It’s just a meme insult here but I can’t help but think some user’s honesty believe if someone disagrees with them that makes them low iq

Even if ur opinion is unarguably right iq has nothing to do on taking the right stance

Iq is basically like an SSD and a HDD

SSD is much faster but both can save the same shit unless we are speaking about a true genius but nobody here is

Yes if the old guy with a normal iq is curious and likes learning he will know more than the high iq guy

High iq is just a way to say u can think faster and are better at problem solving using logic

I am low average on iq but based on the things this forum is used for nobody will be able to tell someone’s iq

Ppl discuss topics here anyone from 80-120iq can blend in just fine provided they all are curious

There is no area in this forum that requires fast problem processing

Ofc actual genius level would have an advantage even here and someone who’s so low iq they are mentally unable to mature into an adult would also be noticeable

IQ isn't just about solving problems faster, it's also about having the cognitive capacity/ abstraction to solve certain problems at all. There are IQ tests without time limits that strongly correlate with general intelligence and fluid reasoning, which in its purest form is nearly synonymous with g.

While processing speed correlates with g, its heavy inclusion in IQ tests is largely a practical choice, given the importance of time during testing and in academic and professional settings.
