How is 1 year difference this drastic?

Interviews are 1 year apart. The older interview she was so much prettier, what happened? Is she just not wearing fakeup in the later interview or does she look worse due to ageing through puberty (acne, etc), and or the drugs having an effect on appearence? Is it most likely fakeup being less apparent in the later interview?
