cos Cyprus unlike Turkey has had native Europeans living there for all of history. Meanwhile Turkey is now invaded and occupied by Turks.

The only reason europeans don't consider turkey to be a part of them is because they're majority muslim and they're in the outskirts of Europe so that makes it easier for them to deny their euroepanness, they can't do it with Albania or Bosnia because they're very clearly within the European mainland.
